No light backlight on dash

No light backlight on dash
Wonder if it faulty switch or something else, all fuses are okay, can someone tell me what out of 3 wires in the plug i need to short to check it or resistance in working switch?

it works, forgot that i need to turn on headlights (night mode) in order to have dimmer activated, my old car switch was on the dimmer itself i think... sucks to have no manual, but i got the most of it.
