Default Oil Drain PLug Location. What?!?!

I've done a lot of work on my '13 Accent but I've never changed my own oil. I figured it's time. But the drain plug location faces forward, so when I put my Accent on ramps I can't drain much oil. What's the secret?

Obviously, as low as this car sits to the ground I've got get under to access the plug and filter. Or what? I guess I could roll the car back off the ramps, allow it to drain, replace the drain plug and go back on the ramps to remove/replace filter?

How are you guys doing it?

Sometimes you need to jack up the rear so the pan drains, then let it down and complete the oil and filter change.

That's what I ended up doing. It was the only thing that made sense.

Thanks!
