Oil Drain Plug
Hi
I have a Elantra with a very minimally leaking drain plug(6-7 drops overnight). I know that I have to tap out the pan (thats the ideal thing), but until I can get to it is a rubber plug (sell at auto stores) ok to stop the leak. Anyone ever used one, and did you have any luck with it stopping the drip? Any help advice or prior knowlege will be very much appreciated.
Thanks

Are you using a gasket? If so what kind? I generally get drips when I use copper gaskets, don't know why. I don't genrally get drips with the aluminum ones. Why do you have to tap out the pan? Was it overtightened?
