Can anyone tell me if the oil filter housing on a 97 Accent (1.5 liter) can be replaced or is it cast into the block?

 

Yes it can be replaced, however it is part of the oil pump housing and is rather expensive.</P>


I am not sure whether or not you can purchase them with an oil pump already in them. But if you cant, then you will be required to carry out some pretty small measurements.</P>
