Default overheating 2000 accent

my 2000 accent a/c works great for a while then i feel the compressor kick off. the car runs hot at higher speeds. i literally had to run the heat in the car at 70 mph just to keep it from overheating and i live in florida. all the fans seem to be working it seems they run more now that the car is running hot. i checked the coolant, thermostat, and everything seems to be fine. i havnt changed the radiator cap. i dont think anything has been changed regarding the cooling system since the car was new. but the temp needle is climbing when i drive at higher speeds and i hear the fans running. could it be the thermostat or the cap even though i see circulation in the radiator? refridgerant is fine as well dont know why its running hot hope its something simple i dont see any leakage around the water pump as well

welcome to the site. try posting this thread in the technical section . try removing the thermostat and seeing what happens. it will not do any harm. and if anything the engine should run cool. if not you could have a blockage?
