I just bought a used '03 Accent with 110k miles on it and the speedometer has suddenly stopped working. The gas gauge will occasionally get stuck at zero when I start the car, but will fix itself if I turn off the car and restart it. This has not worked with the speedometer, however, and I've read that it has to do with the speed sensor. Is replacing the speed sensor something that I'll be able to easily do on my own? Or is it a complicated process? I have the mechanic manual but I'm new to car maintenance so any tips would help!
