hey everybody i was just wondering if it was at all possible to swap a 2001 hyundai motor and trany for a vtec motor and trany and what it takes to pull it off. plz help thanks

 

Anything is possible with enough money and skill. If you are asking if it's a simple swap, the answer is no. My guess is, if you are asking how to do it, you lack the skills of how to do it. I'd suggest either keeping the Hyundai engine and build that up or sell the car and buy a VTEC Honda.

Accents do not come with Honda engines. VTEC is a Honda system, not Hyundai.

Hyndai's variable valve system is called CVVT

The Accent isn't exactly a car modders dream. I've found barely any go fast mods for it. On the upside, it's hard to spend my hard earned money on stuff I don't really need

If you really want to rice out a car, like said above, get a Honda Civic or Fit.
