Keep the Avalon if it's troublefree, and get the extended warranty, but ONLY if it's a Toyota factory extended warranty. I rented an '05 a few years back when my 4Runner needed some shop time and loved it. The wife and I both liked theAvalon. I like the Hyundai products, but I'd keep that Avalon if it was me.

 

Good call.... a 2005 Avalon doesn't need replacing yet.

 

while the Azera is a fantastic vehicle, the deprecation on the Avalon is less. I'd recommend simply hanging ontothe Avalon. I work for Hyundai so this is an HONEST opinion. There is really no upside to making a lateral move in vehicles as the dealer payout would not equal the less amount of depreciation the Avalon would have when it came time to sell either car in a few years. As both cars are similar in form, function and reliability... it all comes down to the bottom dollar. Not to mention your older vehicle with the same miles, means more miles have been put on the Azera in a shorter amount of time suggesting harder use.
