Default 06 Azera temp gauge

Hi all.

06 Azera 3.8L Temp gauge has quit working.. Have no voltage at the temp sender on either wire... Suggestions please? Other than the timing chain tensioners being noisy, it's been a great car with close to 293K on the clock now.

Hi Steve,
Can you manage to check at the instrument cluster if there is voltage present at one of the terminals on the gauge itself ?
This could go 2 ways.
If you do have voltage there , need to determine where it gets lost in wiring/connections.
If no voltage there , you might start checking back to where it supplies the other gauges.

Default Temp guage still inop. Now P0118

Ok guys,

This thing is giving me fits now. Temp gauge has been inop for around 2 years. Now have a p0118 code for sensor voltage high... Finally located and replaced the temp sensor/sender(3 wire) No change in either condition.. From what I can tell, the only common area is connector JC101. Is that the main junction box/ fuse panel??

I'd love to get this fixed and get the old lady off my back..

Steve
