I have a 2001 Elantra almost 190k and still runs great. I have two problems with it.

1.The AC, fan,Temp lights on the dash are out. How do I replace them?
2. My interior light will not go off when the doors are closed. I checked the switch possition and not the choises are on/off/on. It had dimmed in the past, now it stays on.

Ok first you have replacement bulbs in the back of the a/c control head.Go by your dealer and pick some up.you have to remove the control head to replace these bulbs.pretty simple. As for your light for room lamp not going out. Thats another story,most probably a door contact switch.This will take a wiring diagram . First do you have the light on the cluster showing a door open? If so its a switch malfunction probably.If not that will take a diagnosis further.
