Took my Elantra to the dealership today after losing all interior power i.e. radio, dash lights, mirrors, windows, interior lights. They diagnosed it as a shorted door harness in both doors, I guess where they meet. I found a TSB earlier on a forum but can't find it anymore. The TSB dealed with road salt coroding a cowl and causing leakage to the harness. Any direction and anyones prior experiences with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Oh and does anyone know where to find said door harness' on the cheap? Cause Hyundai is looking to charge me 800 plus for parts and labor.

 

Try salvage yards. It sounds like one of the wires is shorted which is blowing the Fuse (most likely Fuse 25 in the Passenger Compartment Fuse Box).
