Does anyone know why my car died? I have it in the shop but now, because I work about two hours away from where I live, I'm a little bit nervous. Last night, on my way home, I heard my cell phone so, I pulled over into a parking lot. As I turned the wheel, my car stalled. I statrted it back up and was able to coast into a parking spot but could not start it after that. The lights still work, the radio works. My car was bought used from a dealership. It has about 55K in mileage. Any ideas?

 

when the car started again what did the motor sound like or how did it run. hopefully its not a timing belt issue.

 

it seemed normal to me but died almost immediately. I put it in park, started it, put it in drive and it died as I pulled in to the spot--which was almost immediately following putting it into drive.
