My son just bought a 2004 Elantra with a 2.0 engine and we are doing some maintenance to it as we don't know last time things were done.
Where is the tranny filter at. We dropped the tranny pan to replace and it isn't there! Are we missing something?
I have done alot of searching on the net for it and all I'm getting is to buy the filter no one is showing where it is.

As far as I know, there is no tranny filter
There is a space on the pan where it would have went if they decided to have one in there
But, no tranny filter. Just drain and fill and drain and fill ....
