Default 2005 Elantra Keyless Entry Reprogram
I recently purchased a new keyfob and want to reprogram it. Can I do this on my own or do I have to go to the dealer?

Dealer only. Bring both fobs as reprogramming deletes the old ones and you need the new ones with you to be programmed. Also, only 2 fobs can be programmed.

Thank you I thought so, I followed some directions on the internet and accessed the computer box behind the ashtray, but no switches on the box for programming.

Those instructions were for older Elantras. 2002 and older I think.
