hey guys i bought a 2007 hyundai elantra limited. when u open both the front doors u can notice there is a red piece of plastic that seems as though it is a door light. Does that actually light up for any of you? I know my friend has a Santa Fe and his doors have the identical red piece of plastic covering for light, and they do light up when u open the doors. Can some of you please check your 2007 elantra's and let me know if your front door's have the red piece light up?

in some it's a light ?? as far as i know it's either a light in all or in none, the limited edition is the top trim in elantra, if it doesnt have it then none of them do, i guess u don't really know the answer n just wanted to give the most obvious one "in some it does in some it doesnt"

 

You're absolutely correct. In the 01-06 Elantra, that is a lamp; the schematics show it. On the 07 Elantra schematics, that same section shows no lamps in the doors. I guess you're[sm=owned.gif], Joshewuhh!
