Default 2012 oil and maint

Just bought 2012 Limited Elantra and have some maint questions:
Manual says change oil every 7500 miles? I'm used to 3000. Is this ok?
5W20 conventional or synthetic?
Also, manual says 4.2 qt oil - does this include filter change? Some of the deaership paperwork I have from previous owner cites 5qts.

Manual doesn't have a frequency for AT fluid change?
Says plugs at 100k, but what about plug wires?

- 7500 is totally normal unless you do all stop-an-go city driving.

- Conventional or synthetic is up to you. Personally, I use synthetic and change my oil every 10,000 miles.

- 4.2 with the filter. 5qts is more than needed but won't hurt your car.

- Actually, on page 7-16 it says the auto trans does not need checking or maintenance. To me, that's just crazy. Trans fluid takes a lot of abuse and I change mine every 30,000 miles. That might be overkill. At the very minimum I wouldn't go more than 60,000 on the trans fluid.

- I change the wires at the same time as the plugs.
