Question 2018 Elantra Cruise Control Replacement

I recently purchased my son a 2018 Elantra and noticed the crusie control switch is broken. I found the part online and purchased it. I took the four screws out from behind the steering wheel and was able to pop out the airbag. However, I couldn't figure out how to get the current cruise control setup out. Do I need to remove the entire steering wheel in order to access the current setup?

Yes, to replace the cruise control switch on a 2018 Elantra, you'll need to remove the entire steering wheel. After removing the airbag and the screws behind the steering wheel, you should find a central bolt that secures the steering wheel to the steering column. Carefully remove this bolt and then you can pull off the steering wheel. Once the steering wheel is off, you'll have access to the cruise control switch and can replace it. Just be sure to handle everything with care and follow proper safety precautions, especially with the airbag.

Does anyone know the torque setting on the 2018 Hyundai Elantra steering wheel?
