2000 Elantra Cruise Control Issue
Hello all....it's been awhile. My car has been behaving beautifully for a long time now. However, my cruise control has quit working. The switch on the dash turns on, when I hit the button to maintain speed the light goes on....but it doesn't hold the speed.
My son looked at it, and said that I have a bad cellenoid and the little fan wasn't getting any power. Now don't get me wrong, I love my son, and he's kept my car running beautifully to 170,000 miles, but when I call car parts places and ask for a cellenoid for my cruise control they all sounded a little confused.
If what I've said makes any sense to anyone, can you please give me an actual part name and let me know if you think this is the problem or if there may be other issues to look into so I can get my cruise fixed?
