Thumbs down air conditioning on hyundai lantra 96 model

hello i am wondering if anyone can help as i do not have the money they want to look at it.
I have a 96 lantra just got a reconditioned motor put in
they re-gassed the air conditioner for me but since i got it back the air conditioner does not seem to work, the fan works fine from hot to cold, i can hear the compressor start and the revs go higher with it turned on but for some reason it just does not feel cold.
I am not sure but i think the fan only on cold is colder
does anyone have any ideas on how to test or fix my self im thinking a cable or plug wasnt put back in im pretty mechanically minded i just cant figure out what cause is
appreciate any help or ideas

If the compressor is turning, and the A/C hoses don't get cold under the hood, then something is not making cold. Are you sure you have refrigerant pressure in there? It could be leakiing out if you cracked open the system?

Ok, well this is not rocket science here. Take it back to the mechanic and tell him the AC doesn't work.
