Default my elantra help please

my elantra when i accelarate in any gear to over take of speed up my revs shoot up but i get no power at all it just over revs the engine can any one help please

Manual or automatic transmission?

Either the hydraulic clutch is not working correctly or the clutch itself is worn out. Start by checking the fluid level in the reservoir on top of the clutch master cylinder. If low, fill with DOT 3 fluid. Because of the excess slippage when the clutch is released, I suspect the slave cylinder is hanging up, or as I said before, the clutch is gone.

You probably fried the clutch by now, but try to flush and bleed the clutch hydrolic system first before you replace the clutch.
