If you have the Service Manual and/or Electrical Troubleshooting Manual for any of these Hyundai years 96 or 97 or 98 (the gen 2), could you let me know?

I was hoping someone could look up a page for me.

 

I have obtained every gen 1 and gen 2 U.S. Elantra SM/ETM from '91-'95 and '96-'99.

I'm still looking for anyone who still has a '91-'95 and '96-'98 Elantra who can check their OBD-I 12-pin data link connector and/or OBD-II 16-pin DLC for me.

 

What kind of info were you seeking for the 96 and over years ? 16 pin

 

For '96, '97, '98 Elantras, what V is on pin DLC 15 in Key out, Key IN, ACC, and Ign ON (car not running)? (Driver's door hinge bolt and door jamb phillips screw head make good ground locations for the multi-meter's black test lead. This can be confirmed by putting m-m red lead on DLC pin 16 key out, first, to confirm all other V readings are accurate, properly grounded.)

What V is on DLC pin 7, same Elantra years and same key positions?

Is DLC pin 11 populated? And what color wire? (Don't check the V here, just eyeball the terminal and wiring.)

What V is on DLC pin 1, same years and key positions?

What V is on DLC pin 9, same years and key positions?

Also, does the given car (year) have ABS?
Does it have Cruise Control?
And, what is Elantra trim level?

What is production date and month on the d's door jamb?

And, then, if a scanner is available, what is the "connecting protocol"?
