Default Brake cailpers

I am changing the brake pad on my 2012 Elantra. Is it a good idea or a bad idea to put a little high temp grease on the sides of the calipers to ensure they move in and out smoothly?

Do you mean on the slides of the caliper?
If you mean sides then what sides are you talking about? Side of what?

You can put a little grease on the ears of the pads
And/or put a little on the back of the pads.

Actually, it was the round piston moving back and forth during the braking.
