What voltage is at the battery?
Did you clean the terminals and battery posts?
Does the engine crank?
Can you tap the starter to see if it is just bad contact?

What is a "cell start cable"???

The terminals are clean

The cable connecting the engine and battery supplying power to start the engine

Do you mean the cable that goes from the positive battery post to the starter?
I know the starter is behind the engine and under.

Anyway, did you check the battery voltage?
Can you connect a wire to the starter solenoid and touch the battery positive post?
That should crank the engine.
Did you try to tap the starter while trying to start the engine?

If you had a remote starter then there would be clips at the ends and a switch in the middle.
One clip on the starter solenoid and the other on the battery positive post
Hit the switch and engine should crank.
This by-passes the ignition and park neutral safety switch
So, better have gear in park or neutral with e-brakes on for safety.

You can also try a starter relay by-pass.
That would tell you if it is the control side or load side of starter circuit that needs to be looked at.
There are plenty of youtube videos to show you how to troubleshoot a no crank, no start.
They can go in depth enough to find your problem
And help you fix it.

Also, have you checked the battery voltage?
You aren't going to start anything if the battery is weak.
Well, third time I asked.
You are on your own. Good luck.

Let's put it this way,
He got it fixed !
I would suspect they found a poor connection at the starter solenoid. The wire coming from the ign via safety sw to starter solenoid. I would accept that as a fix, wouldn't you ?
