I would suspect they found a poor connection at the starter solenoid. The wire coming from the ign via safety sw to starter solenoid. I would accept that as a fix, wouldn't you ?

I have had more than one instance where the possible solution I suggested corrected a starting problem.
You need to remember some folks are really not that mechanically minded and their descriptions may not always be technically ideal.
I'm sure you agree we are here to assist if we can.
If someone wants to offer a solution to their problem, we have the choice to accept or reject it and move on to try to assist another person.
For example , a lot of folks haven't a clue as to how an automobile engine etc . works, and they just hope we can provide some info so they don't get ripped off by some places.
