I had an accident with my 2001 Elantra 4 door, manual. I had extensive work done on the front end. I got my car back and it worked fine for 3 days. On the 4th day the check engine light started to flash. There is no particular pattern as to when this will happen. If the light flashes when I am moving the car will buck. If it flashes when the car is idling when I am at a light or parked, the car sometimes cuts out. I brought it to my usual garage and they couldnt pull a code. There is nothing stored because its just an engine light flash. Hyundai dealer confirmed no codes stored. Hyundai thinks it might be a wiring issue. 1st garage advised me to drive the car until the car breaks down or the light goes solid so a code can be pulled. here is the list of things that were replaced: Hood panel, radiator support, left and right headlight assembly, radiator, windshield washer bottle, left fender liner.

Any suggestions as to where I should go from here?

 

Intermittant short someplace. Could be anywhere.
