My daughter's right hand headlamp has condensation. There is TSB out on it but the dealership will not do anything about it. I am attempting to change out the whole headlamp assembly. Her Elantra came with the triple beam LED lights. I cannot find that in an aftermarket version. Dealership wants $1716 for 1 headlamp unit.
First, does anyone know of any aftermarket version?
Second, if no aftermarket version, can I replace the triple beam LED version with the halogen version. Will the wire harness plug in and will the car electronics work with halogen unit? This is an American built Elantra.
Also, If I can replace it with halogen version, can I then upgrade the halogen bulbs to LED?
