Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default Do I need a new CV axle?

I was under the old 2012 Elantra this morning trying to locate the source of some suspension clunking(thought it was sway bar links, but they don't seem too bad & I replaced them last year ?). When I took the driver's side front wheel off I saw this. I am assuming that the inner CV boot is cracked/ripped somewhere. though I didn't see any damage from my vantage point. Is this a good guess? Could this possibly cause what might be interpreted as suspension clunking? How hard a job is it on this car?
