Hello,

I currently own a 1994 Elantra GL 1.6l with automatic transmission. The stock engine has gone 200K plus and i wanted to get a newer [ or lets say used with less mileage] engine. Can i substitute it with 1.8l from the GLS model without any complications and extra changes or modifications to other parts?

Does my model have an electronic motherboard?
