hi my elantra j2 1.8 no spark no fuel pump not working engine crank strong but dont want to start then a bush machenic joint the black wire and the red with white wire that go into fuelpump relay and boom my car start but i dont like the 2 wires joint together how safe is it

 

Without doing some more checking , from what you tell us, it sounds like there is a good possibility the fuel pump relay is either defective or not getting the signal to close and provide power to the fuel pump.. There are some other conditions that need to be met for the relay to be activated and they need to be checked to determine which condition is missing. Wish I could be more helpful , but you probably should have a person there with the tools and knowledge to check it out.

Temporary fix is just that and better to have it corrected as soon as you can.

 

hi thanks yes its my worries bcoz the black wire and the red and white wire go into the fuel pump relay bush mech joint those 2 wires together but i want to knie why does the red wire with white stripe dont have power and where does the red wire supposed to get a pulse or power from bcoz its dead no power
