Hello,


I owned my 2013 Elantra GT for 1 year and 4 months now. I just received a letter in the mail that does not appear to be Hyundai directly explaining:


THIS LETTER IS TO INFORM YOU: That if your factor warranty has expired, you will be responsible for paying any repairs. You have the option to protect your vehicle beyond the factory warrant. Please respond by 1/16/2015 and mention this letter for a $100 discount.


I thought as a owner of a Hyundai I was entitled to a 10 year warranty so I speculate this letter is a scam. Anyone else get this too?

Yeah, that's bogus. It's not from Hyundai but from an third party company that sells aftermarket warranties. You can throw that out.
