I just purchased a 2023 Elantra SEL with Convenience package. The car is unreal with technology but the headlights are just awful at night. I might be spoiled with my LED Headlights on my BMW and Lexus but these are really bad.
Has anyone swapped out for LED light that don't look cheesy. I don't want it to look aftermarket.....My car/stereo place offered to do it for $225 which didn't seem too bad. Is it one set up of bulbs for Headlights and Highbeams?

 

Just changed the halogen to LED on my 2023 Elantra SEL. I used Fahren 9005/HB3 LED Headlight Bulbs which I got off Amazon for about $39. I used them on my 2019 Sonata and had no issues with them. If $225 was bulbs and install, that high of a price could be because its recommended to remove the front bumper to change the bulbs. I went in through the wheel wells and it took me about 15 minutes max each side. LEDs make a big difference over the halogen.

 

Old thread but I just purchased my 2023 Elantra SEL with Convenience package. The first thing I noticed was the dim headlights. (I work nights and drive dark roads). I ordered the Lasfit 9005 LAair series LEDs. What an improvement.!! I went with the "take off the front bumper" route as I replaced the horns with louder ones. Fantastic car optherwise.

 

I need help..i am so scared to replace these...just bought car...they didnt tell me they were projector lights ...i have no clue what that means...they arent calling them halogens.

Don't get colored LED's and it won't look cheesy get cool white, they will look very good and bright 👍
