Default Ignition Harness

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum. I hope someone can help with my problem. I was trying to install a wireless auto-start system today. I started by attempting to remove the two ignition harness connectors attached to the back of the ignition. There's one small connector with several small gage wires and a bigger connector with several large gage wires. I was able to disconnect the small one with ease. The larger one, however, i never got out. I tried literally for almost an hour. I want to remove it so i can splice all my wires in conveniently in the footwell. How the hell to I disconnect it???? Does anyone have any other tips on installing a remote start system. Keep in mind, i'm trying to do this in my university's dorm parking lot, not the most convenient place.
