2008 electra, how to program the key fob

 

Sit in the car with all doors closed and insert the key into the ignition. Turn the key to the "ON" position, but don't start the engine. Within 10 seconds, press and hold both the "LOCK" and "UNLOCK" buttons on the key fob for about 5 seconds, then release both buttons. Turn the key back to the "OFF" position and remove it from the ignition. Test the key fob to ensure it operates the locks. If it doesn't work, you might need to repeat the process.
