led head lights

Same question for a 2018 Sonata 2.0T
I find that the bulb used by manufacturers are very poor, very dim. My wife had a Subaru Legacy GT. She commuted through winy road in Fairfax, VA. I put in Philips' highest power light of the time and it transformed her commute.
We have a new Sonata 2.0T and we love the car except for the headlight.
I can put in the Phillips halogen but I am thinking about LEDs. I have a few questions:
1. Did you use the adapter to stop flickering and warnings?
2. What brand did you use?
3, Are they DOT compliant?
4. How many lumens?
5. What temperature and cllor? (I want white).
Any help will be app[reciated.
Thanks
