Hyundai Elantra While not much larger than the accent, the Elantra offers similar room, but a sportier look and feel, as well as more power.

Default My 2005 Elantra stalls when changing the heater flow through the dashboard

So this is what is going on. It seems like the only setting i can have the heater air flow is on defrost. When i go to turn the **** to say out the front of the dash, and the floor...the car starts to stall. I can smell something burning. I took off the heater control board with the AC and everything, and i checked it all out, and i didn't see burning there. I was wondering if it might be the Heater blend control? Cause the fan speed works, and it doesn't have any problems being on defrost. Right now i have the heater switches unplugged, and its on High, at defrost. Also, is the blend control actuator under the dashboard? I will need to do some investigating for melted and exposed wires and such.

Thanks!

Sounds electrical, check the fuses/ relays in the engine compartment. Then check the fuses in the interior of the car. Is the check engine light on? If so check the code.

Yeah i am going to tear apart the dash and see if i can find anything. I got a engine code, but its a O2 Sensor (Rear), but i have the replacement for that.
