I have a 2004 Hyundai Elantra and the battery recently went dead due to the door not being shut the the auxilary lights being on all night long. That's all fine and dandy, but when the battery died, my radio and clock shut down due to the security system. I read online that you need to put in a code and that the code is in the Owner's Manual but guess what, I don't have the owners manual. It was never supplied to me via the dealership I got the car at so I'm at a loss for what to do about driving a very quiet, timeless car.
