My Santa Fe will not start then after sitting a while the system will reset and it will start and run. I replaced the battery prior to having the non-starting problem.

I have found a thread that says the security system needs to be reset when replacing the battery. This has been known to cause the problem.

how does my mechanic go about resetting the security system?
Do I need to go to the Hyundai dealer to get this done? Or is there a way I can reset the security system?
