My Hyundai Elantra 2009 suddenly goes off while in motion. It starts again and goes off while moving, some times it drives for certain minutes or hours before going off. I have just changed the fuel pump as recommended by other forums i joined earlie but the problem is still happening and my technician seems to have run out of ideas. Any useful suggestions will be very well appreciated.

Sounds electrical to me. I'd start looking for loose connections. Possibly a bad ECM.

 

With the engine running, try wiggling a harness or two
Especially those that are near heat, exhaust, metal, vibration
If the engine cuts out then you have a lead on a bad connection or wire
