performance chips????
have you modified any anything in regards to engine performance? if not i wouldn't recommend it. the gain in horsepower is not worth it. normally one would install a chip or modify a ecu before there is a need for more fuel eg. a turbocharger or a supercharger is added to the enigne which require more fuel delivery. if an intake or exhuast system there is no need for a performance chip. the only gain that might be possible probably removing the top speed governor if there's one. hope what i said makes sense.
i don't own a hyundai, i work on them. when an ecu is reprogrammed, it actually happens most of the time is the make compensation for the fuel map so if x amount of air is coming in the engine x amount of fuel is going to be delivered. otherwise you should still have your driveabilities as if you were driving the car before. also like i mention you might notice a top speed increase depending onhow they claim the new ecu willmake your car perform. what you should do is who ever you are buy/having reprogram your ecu, have them specify what gainsyou will be getting with the upgrade. then you can also make the decision on whether you want to make that step.
what do you think of this one.. do you think this is a good one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PERFO...spagenameZWDVW
