My passenger side chime does not sound when the seat belt is not connected is that normal?

 

Yes. If you were driving with no passenger it would chime all the time.

 

Hi I dont think I made my self clear when my wife sits in the passenger seat and does not buckle up the chime does not go on to remind her that she is not buckled in .
