Stalls when shifted out of park

Stalls when shifted out of park

Can anyone tell me why my 2000 elantra stalls when I shift out of park. The car seems to start and idle fine. Any help is greatly appretiated.

Not a lot to go on here; does it stall every time? Can the car roll or are the wheels locked up?
