Starting problem with my Hyundai Elantra
Hi
I have a starting problem with my car. I dont know what it is, but I think its something with the child safty on the clutch. Because when im stepping on the clutch the car start, but now when im doing that nothing happens. Is it anyone here who have had the same problem? I have a Hyundai Elantra mod. 1995 sedan
Thanks, Robert. (Sorry for the bad english)

Lets single this out, rather than 1 long blurb..
Manual trans car
Press clutch pedal, turn key to crank, no click or engine crank
Correct so far....
Find the switch attached to the clutch pedal bracket. Verify the switch is properly mounted.
If mounted, verify plunger is pushed with clutch pedal depressed... (you dont have a pile of carpet scraps/towels/floor mats bunched up under the pedal to restrict travel ?
If all above is fine, unplug the switch (for testing purpose), and jump the (2) terminal together on the vehicle harness and see if engine cranks when key turned... if it does, replace the switch..
