I have a 2005 Elantra and am getting some strange noise from the front passenger wheel. The noise sounds as if something is rubbing. I only hear it when the wheel is turned to the right. It almost sounds as if something is rubbing. I have checked and there is nothing rubbing on the tire. The wheel bearing was replaced about 5,000 miles ago, so I doubt it's that. Could it be a ball joint? Any ideas?

 

Could be a CV joint going bad.
