transmission problem..
I have a 03 elantra, runs great. The other day I changed my radiator, and that is all I did.Now I have a tranny problem. It clunks when taken in and out of reverse really bad.And sometimes I have no drive.I can drive for awhile, then car acts like its in neutral with shifter still in "D".I did not have this problem at all, period until the day I changed my radiator. The dip stick shows fluid at full line when cold.Reverse is fine, except for "clunk",but sometimes no drive. What happened?
As for cooling hoses, can they be reversed.I did not pay attention to that when I removed them.Thinking it was just for cooling only,no biggie.1 line out and 1 in.Does it matter which way they go from cooler on radiator to tranny tubes?I really need help.Car ran perfect before this. Thanks

is the check engine light on? did you disconnect the transmission range switch? or unbolt the 12 on top of the range switch? i would check that it is adjusted properly. the trans cooler lines do not really matter which side they are on
