Where is the negative battery cable ground located?

Where is the negative battery cable ground located?
2000 Hyundai Elantra.
I briefly tried tracing the negative cable to ground but ran out of time and saw that the cable kind of disappeared down into the engine parts.
I have a ground problem and need to get at the grounding bolt to clean it and the negative battery cable terminal there as well as the area into which it bolts.
Specific location and how to access?

The negative battery terminal is on the battery ... lol
Take the time to trace the cable to find the terminal bolt which hooks it up to body ground and/or engine block ground.
After all, if you are going to fix it then you will have to follow it to the bolt???
