Default 2011 Elantra Touring Drivers Door Rattle

I have a 2011 Elantra Touring GL. I have had it for two weeks and I am very happy with the car. There is however one thing that is driving me crazy. There is a rattle that is coming from the drivers door. The exact location is at the end of the arm rest past the mirror controls. There are three seams that come together on the door pannel just past the mirror control on the door panel. When I am driving for about 15-20 minutes the rattle starts. I had the entire door panel replaced at the dealership and the noise continues even with the new panel. When I press my thumb on that spot the rattle stops. When I remove my thumb the rattle continues. The frustrating part is that the technician can't hear it becasue he won't drive around for 20 minuttes waiting for the bumps to activate the rattle. Any advice?

I would ask again very politely, and if he refuses, respectfully ask to talk to the service or general manager. If this does not help, maybe a district manager. Hyundai will be sending you a form at some point, asking how happy you are with your car and the service.

You might also try another dealership/service dept if there is one close enough to you.
