I have a 2012 elantra touring. Key will not turn or come out of ignition. Battery is good, vehicle is in park. Tried checking the switches on the shifter. They all seem to be fine. Help??

 

I doubt the key is worn , but anything is possible.
Since you didn't mention it , exactly everything you did and how/why was the key placed in the acc position? Sometimes retracing our steps reveals something we might have overlooked. No pressure on the steering wheel is there?
Usually power from the ign sw allows the shift lever to move.
