Default Interstate Roadtrip

Took my first good all interstate road trip yesterday. The wife, grandkids and I went to Atlanta yesterday and did some shopping at Ham Radio Outlet and the Atlanta Farmers Market. Driving the ET at 70-75 mph with the air conditioning on it averaged 32.9 MPG. I thought this was pretty good. It really shines around town though, my last tank was 24.6. I am still loving my little cruiser. I also added a stainless steel exhaust tip and it looks great!

I just finished a 1600km (1000mi) road trip through the rocky mountains last night. Over the entire trip we averaged 6.2L/100km which is 37.9mpg and the car was loaded right to the roof in the hatch and back seat.

Mine is a 5 speed and the weather was about 10*C so A/C was not required, the speed limits kept us going about 65-70mph when we were on the highway but we also did about 400km of our trip on city/town roads with frequent stops. Pretty hard to complain about the mileage in these things eh?
