Roof Rails! - How do I get 'em in the US?

Personally, I intend to wait until roof rack and rails are available. For someone in need, these might work.

Do you have a timeline for when they will be available? I hadn't heard that rails were forthcoming in the US market.

Post #8 doesn't answer my question. Roof rails on a 2010 doesn't translate into availability for a 2009 unless the body doesn't change and it is a dealer installed option. I wasn't assuming either of those.

Hyundai is not going to change the body after only one year (especially not the roof). And since they are optional, they will be able to be installed by a dealer or any other qualified mechanic.

My bad. I was under the impression that the current body style had been marketed in Europe for a few years already.

I got my set of Elantra touring cross rails from http://www.thehyundaiaccessorystore....?siteid=216230 they were 20% OFF!!! pART NUMBER IS 2L021-ADU00

Looks like they cost about $88 per rail. I can live with that. How did you install them?
