Smile SE 5000 mile report

Just tuned 5000 miles on my SE purchased June 1st, 2010. What a great little car. The only issue as been the very slight pull to the right that was completely fixed by just rotating the two front tires. Ave gas mileage since purchase is 31.8 mpg combined.

I have driven the car up to 750 miles in one trip and have felt great upon arriving. Our other car is a couple year old BMW 535xi wagon. The SE compares very favorably in most categories and for the difference in price, the SE is an amazing vehicle.

I went into the dealership expecting to purchase a Santa Fe. Saw the Touring SE on the lot which was the first time i either saw this vehicle or heard about it. After a test drive of both vehicles, i decided the SE was the one for me. Maybe this is why Hyundai does not push the SE more, afraid it will take sales from the more expensive vehicle. Looking forward to many more happy miles in the Touring!

Still dont have my pull fixed on my 09...and its becoming apparent that Hyundai isnt too interested in pursuing the matter further. So, for now its a low tech compromise of keeping slightly higher psi in the right side tires. Also, I have a bad engine/tranny harmonic about 65-70 mph. I have the auto. Otherwise its practical and build quality seem to be good.

Glad to hear youre happy with yours- and no pull whatsover.
